What's the difference between aliases and mailboxes?+
A mailbox is a real, fully-featured email account with its own inbox, sent items, drafts, calendar, contacts, and 10 GB of storage. An alias is an additional address that delivers into an existing mailbox. Aliases are free and unlimited on Team and above.
What are shared inboxes?+
An inbox that multiple team members can read, reply from, and manage together. Common use cases: support@, info@, accounts@, sales@. Included on Team and above.
What are distribution groups?+
An email address that automatically forwards to a list of members. Useful for sending to a whole team without remembering everyone's address.
Can I mix plans across departments?+
Plans are per-domain (or per-account on Enterprise). For mixed plan needs on one domain, the Enterprise plan provides per-mailbox tier customization.
Can I downgrade if I have too many mailboxes?+
Yes, but you'll need to pause or delete mailboxes to fit the lower tier first. Their data is retained for 90 days when paused, then deleted.
Is calendar and contact sync included on all plans?+
Yes. CalDAV (calendars) and CardDAV (contacts) sync are included on every plan including Solo. Free across all tiers.
Does Enterprise pricing depend on team size?+
