This policy explains how billing and refunds work at Kapsule Cloud. We aim to be straightforward and customer-friendly. No retention scripts, no fine print designed to deny refunds.
Plans are billed monthly or annually, in advance, in New Zealand Dollars (GST inclusive for NZ customers).
Annual plans receive a 20% discount compared to monthly billing.
The price you signed up at is the price you pay at renewal. We do not raise prices on existing customers without 90 days notice and the option to cancel.
New customers on Cloud Start get 6 months free with a card on file. No card is charged for 6 months. After 6 months, billing starts at the regular price (NZ$5/mo).
You can cancel any time during the 6 months from KPanel. No cancellation fee, no questions.
All paid hosting plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If youre not happy, email [email protected] within 30 days of your first paid invoice for a full refund.
Refunds are processed within 5 business days to your original payment method.
Domain registration fees: Once a domain is registered, the registration fee is paid to the registry and cannot be refunded.
SSL certificates from third parties (e.g. paid EV certificates): refundable per the issuer's policy.
Migration services: We provide migration free of charge, so theres nothing to refund.
You can cancel any time from KPanel under Billing then Cancel account. No retention calls, no scripts.
On cancellation, your account is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanently deleted.
Annual plans cancelled mid-term are refunded pro-rata for unused months, less a 5% admin fee.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, email [email protected] with BILLING in the subject line. We will investigate within 2 business days and refund any incorrect charges promptly.
