How does the markup work?+
You set the price your client pays. Wholesale: we bill you, you bill them at whatever margin. Retail: clients pay through your branded checkout, Stripe routes the markup directly to your Stripe account via Connect (Pro+ only). Markup can be a percentage or a fixed NZD amount per service type.
What is white-label exactly?+
Your logo, your colours, your custom domain on KPanel. We send branded welcome emails from your address, branded invoices with your company details, branded support replies. Clients see your brand front to back. Your clients don't know Kapsule exists unless you tell them.
When does Stripe Connect Express activate?+
Professional and above. Once approved, Stripe onboarding happens in your dashboard (KYC + bank account). Payouts settle to your account within 24 hours per client billing cycle. You see margin per client in the analytics dashboard.
What is the Reseller Referral Program?+
Agency-tier resellers earn ongoing commissions for referring other resellers to Kapsule. Year-to-date earnings tracked in your dashboard. Useful if you already have a network of agencies.
Do you have a WHMCS or custom-billing integration?+
Yes. WHMCS REST API with kap_res_ scoped tokens. Full OpenAPI 3.1.0 spec at /api/v1/openapi for custom billing integrations. Provision sites, domains, mailboxes from your existing stack.
Can my team members have different permission levels?+
Yes. Three roles: Owner (everything), Billing (invoices + clients but no settings), Viewer (read-only). Granular per-area permissions for sub-account access.
How do you handle client support?+
Reseller-managed by default. Your clients submit tickets through your branded portal. You either handle them yourself or forward to us (Agency+ get branded support escalation paths to our team while keeping your brand front-facing).
How do client suspensions work?+
One-click suspend from the reseller dashboard. Site goes to a maintenance page (you can customise), domains preserved, data retained. One-click reactivate when the client pays. Useful for dunning escalations.
What does the application process look like?+
Submit /reseller/apply with company details, target client volume, current hosting business (if any), bank account country. We respond within 2 business days. We accept most NZ-based applicants on the spot; international resellers get a quick fit conversation.
Can I migrate my existing reseller business?+
Yes. We help with bulk CSV import of clients, branded migration emails, and DNS-level migration support. Agency+ get hands-on migration assistance.
